Spring in Bolzano

Bolzano, the gateway to the Dolomites, is a colorful place in spring!

Longer days, the desire for fresh air, walks through the scents of plants, along a stream or among blossoming orchards are the ingredients of spring in Bolzano. A perfect season to get on your bike. What could be better than pedaling along apple orchards in bloom! The city of Bolzano offers a rich calendar of events and initiatives that invite you to spend your days in the city. Many opportunities to enjoy the light and at the same time suggestive atmosphere of spring.

Spring in Bolzano is enriched by the new event Bolzano In Fiore Arte/Kunstgarten Bozen. The old town center and the city come alive with eleven contemporary art installations, impressive floral decorations and a top-class programme of dance, music and theatre.  The festival will conclude on 29 April with the traditional Flower Festival in Piazza Walther. The Bolzano Wine Exhibition remains the city’s most important food and wine event. Spring in Bolzano ends with the events in June, in particular Castelronda, a day dedicated to discovering the castles of Bolzano and its surroundings.
