Sports and hiking enthusiasts will find new challenges on over 300 km of hiking trails and there is also plenty to discover for mountain bikers on our wonderful sunny plateau. Families will enjoy the various themed trails or a train ride with the famous “Rittner Bahnl”.
The earth pyramids, called "clay columns with hats" by children, are the highest and most beautiful in Europe.
For water enthusiasts a jump into the cool water with a view of the South Tyrolean mountains is not to be missed. The idyllic Wolfsgrubner Lake or the nearby outdoor swimming pools offer this opportunity until the beginning of September.
You may also enjoy a shopping tour with a touch of dolce vita in the nearby capital of Bolzano and take the opportunity to visit “Ötzi” the famous Iceman. The old town with the medieval arcades of the “Laubengasse” and the historic buildings at the Walther square make shopping an experience.
In summer, Bolzano also hosts numerous events such as the Bozner Weinkost (wine tasting) or the Saint Lorenz Night.
